La Chiesa

Il nostro giro parte dal giardino parrocchiale, di recente sitemazione, accoglie ogni fine settimana decine di persone che vi si fermano per un momento di riposo in un ambiente sereno e sicuro

Our tour starts from the recently restored parish garden which many people visit during the week-end and where they find a moment of rest in a peaceful and secure place

Uscendo dal giardino ci troviamo di fronte alla casa parrocchiale con il bellissimo affresco della Madonna detta del latte

Going out of the garden and opposite to it we find the parish house with the most beautiful fresco of the Virgin Mary known as the Lady of the milk

Sulla destra troviamo l'ingresso della chiesa parrocchiale consacrata ai SS Giacomo e Filippo

On the right there is the entrance to the parish church which is consecrated to Saint James and Saint Philip

	Sopra al portone d'ingresso possiamo vedere il grande bassorilievo in cotto raffigurante la Madonna tra i Santi Giacomo e Filippo Above the main door we can see the great baked clay bas-relief representing the Virgin Mary between Saint James and Saint Joseph
	Alcune belle vetrate, costruite con l'antica tecnica del mosaico in vetro colorato al forno e piombato Some beautiful stained glass windows which were built through the antique mosaic technique using furnace and lead-covered stained glass
		E' importante rilevare che queste splendide opere sono state realizzate nel proprio tempo libero da tre bravi appassionati It is important to point out that these marvellous works of art have been created by three good keen persons during their spare time

Sulla destra uscendo dalla chiesa c'è l'ingresso al cortile dell'antico convento dei frati Domenicani, Once out of the church on your right there is the entrance to the court-yard of the antique Dominican friary
Di fronte possiamo vedere l'ala est di Villa Clerici Est view of Villa Clerici Palace

Lasciamo la piazza della chiesa e ci dirigiamo verso il Naviglio

Leaving the church place we turn our steps towards the Naviglio canal
